While Jerusalem officials say the softened final declaration of the Paris conference is because of successful diplomacy, John Kerry has called Netanyahu telling him, in essence, don't worry.

In the wake of yesterday's final declaration in Paris, the United Nations Security Council is set to meet tomorrow, on Wednesday, 17 January. Its goal, says Council President Olaf Skook, is to "trigger action towards a two-state solution" between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.

Are more UN Security Council resolutions condemning Israel, and attempting to constrain its sovereignty, in the making? Could one or more pass before Trump takes office two weeks from today? Netanyahu thinks so and has put Israel's ambassadors on alert.
